Postcards
It's traditional to send a postcard when you're on holiday, or it used to be - more often we use social media and pin-dropping to show where we are, or have just been. These postcards are ceramic - not to be sent through the snail mail (but you can if you want, I do!) but these are created as a reflection of watching the sunset or the sunrise over the Thames Estuary. They're also a recording of a particular firing, of the whole process of making, glazing, and the process of Raku, or 'pleasure'.
